The street theaters were also staged in seven outdoor areas across Tehran during the festival that lasted from Jan. 21 to Feb. 1. Out of the 160 nominated artists, 90 received their awards during the ceremony. The festival is annually held to mark the anniversary of Iran's 1979 Islamic revolution. Gansu Province is home to multiple sections of the Great Wall that add up to 3,654 kilometers in length. The Hexi Corridor, a critical part of the ancient Silk Road winding through south of the province, boasts more than 1,400 kilometers of the Wall built in the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 AD), and over 1,200 kilometers erected in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
