TOKYO, Japn - Put on display for the media at the Tokyo Customs Office on May 7 are some 13,000 fake beer coupons of Kirin Brewery Co. which police and customs officials say were imported from China by three Chinese students at vocational schools in the Tokyo area. They suspect the counterfeit coupons were produced in China and some of them have already been circulated in Japan.

On March 5, Japan reopened the residence building and its embassy administrative building, both of which date from the Nazi era. The buildings resumed service for the first time in 56 years, following the mission's relocation from Bonn in 1999. They were built in 1942 and are located on a 13,000-square-meter lot in the in the heart of the city.
