SHANGHAI, CHINA - AUGUST 3, 2023 - The Yum China Office building on the street in Shanghai, China, August 3, 2023. Yum China's second-quarter revenue was $2.65 billion, up 25% from a year earlier. Operating profit increased 216% year-over-year to $257 million; Net income was $197 million, up 138% from $83 million in the same period last year. In terms of store expansion, in the second quarter, Yum China added a net 422 stores. As of June 30, 2023, the total number of stores was 13,602.
