German wholesaler Metro opens 1st Japan outlet

CHIBA, Japan - German wholesaler Metro AG opens its first Japanese outlet in the Mihama area of Chiba Prefecture on Dec. 4 as the first foreign specialized wholesaler to enter the Japanese market. The outlet will stock 14,000 commodities, including food, beverages and kitchen-related goods.
