KOFU, Japan - Three men and a woman died and 10 people were injured in a 14-vehicle pileup on the Chuo Expressway in Nishikatsura, Yamanashi Prefecture, on March 20. Police said smoke from a fire burning by the side of the expressway may have hindered drivers' vision and led to the pileup.
