Honda develops own diesel engine for European market

TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows a 140-horsepower diesel engine Honda Motor Co. has developed, the first diesel engine of its own making. The company said Feb. 26 it plans to install the new engine in its Accord passenger car, a diesel version of which Honda will introduce in the European market in December this year.
