A Magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck Colombia in the early hours of Wednesday, December 10, at 3:27 a.m. local time. The epicenter was located in the municipality of Piedecuesta, Santander, with a deep focus of 153 kilometers. This deep tremor allowed the shockwave to be felt widely across several regions, including major cities like Bogotá, Medellín, Bucaramanga, and Tunja.
