TOKYO, Japan - Supermarket chain operator Ito-Yokado Co. sells radishes, onions and six other kinds of vegetable at about half off at one of its 175 outlets on Aug. 22. The two-day sale is aimed at stimulating demand amid rising vegetable prices caused by the unseasonably cool temperatures this summer.
