Germany: Clashes Break Out at Nakba Day March in Berlin

Berlin police used pepper spray and tear gas to disperse a Nakba Day march in the German capital on Saturday, May 16, as around 2,000 demonstrators gathered to mark the 78th anniversary of the 1948 Palestinian displacement. Several people were arrested. Some 700 officers were deployed to monitor the event.
