Murofushi wins IAAF Grand Prix hammer throw with nat'l record

OSAKA, Japan - Koji Murofushi readies to unleash a national record throw of 80.23 meters May 13 to win the hammer throw event at the IAAF Grand Prix track and field meet in Osaka. Murofushi, the 1998 Asian Games gold medalist, broke the old mark of 79.17 meters he set at the national sports festival last October.
