Rescue efforts continue in Taiwan

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Rescue workers in Taipei on Sept. 23 continue to pull survivors from the rubble in the city's Sungshan district. The death toll from the massive earthquake that struck central Taiwan on Sept. 21 rose to 2,133 as of 9 a.m. Sept. 24, while the number of injured stood at 8,137, with 384 still missing.
