N. Korean ship ordered to carry charts, panel lamps

TOYOHASHI, Japan - The Chubu regional transport bureau on June 11 ordered the 2,716-ton North Korean freighter Turubong (in photo) to equip itself with marine charts and panel lamps to illuminate lifeboats, or the ship will not be able to leave Mikawa port in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture.
