The tiger has roamed close to human settlements in the northern part of Russia's Primorsky Territory in the past two years. It hunted a total of 34 dogs, and caused panic among local villagers. Supported by ATC, inspectors from the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife Protection of Primorsky Krai set up a trap along a path that the predator has used to approach human settlements. Examination showed that the tiger was healthy, well-fed, and had no visible injuries.
