Japan: Two Men Injured After Man Wields Knife at Tokyo Subway Station

A man reportedly wielded a knife inside Tokyo Metro Namboku Line's Todaimae Station in Bunkyo Ward on Wednesday, May 7. Two men, in their 20s and 30s respectively, were injured after being attacked inside a train car. The 43-year-old man was arrested at the scene. This video, filmed at one of the station exits after the incident, shows a station staff member asking people not to enter the station and apologizing.

Yungang Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring over 50,000 stone Buddhist sculptures in Datong, was built during the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534). It is considered a pinnacle of Chinese Buddhist art and represents the highest level of sculptural artistry in the world during the 5th century.
