Demio voted Car of the Year by auto researchers, journalists

TOKYO, Japan - Mazda Motor Corp.'s Demio subcompact (photo) was voted Car of the Year by members of the Automobile Researchers and Journalists Conference of Japan on Nov. 13. Mazda released the new Demio, the first complete model change in five years, in July and had sold 25,000 units by Oct. 31.
