NEC to release PC with built-in fuel cell

TOKYO, Japan - NEC Corp. plans to release a personal computer (PC) powered by a built-in fuel cell in 2004. The planned PC (photo), which is 288 millimeters by 261 mm by 40 mm, will be able to operate for five consecutive hours. Weighing 900 grams, the refillable fuel cell limits the gross weight of the PC to 2 kilograms. (Kyodo)
