Fukushima Daiichi plant

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the plant on Sept. 19 and urged TEPCO to scrap the Nos. 5 and 6 reactors at the crippled plant that avoided meltdowns during the 2011 nuclear crisis. The utility is moving ahead with decommissioning of the Nos. 1 to 4 units.
