Mercedes-Benz Japan launches premium compact SUV

TOKYO, Japan - Mercedes-Benz Japan Co. has launched its GLK-Class premium compact sport utility vehicle (shown in this photo) targeting dual-income couples in their late 30s and 40s. The company said Oct. 24 the 6.75 million yen four-wheel-drive SUV is 4.53 meters long and 1.84 meters wide, and is powered by a 3-liter engine.
