Nikkei ends nearly 600 points lower, sinks below 17,000

TOKYO, Japan - Casio Computer Co. said Jan. 31 it will begin sales of its QV-3000EX digital camera (shown here), boasting 3.34 million pixels, for 88,000 yen on Feb. 25. Casio will join Fuji Photo Film Co., Olympus Optical Co. and Canon Inc. in offering a digital camera with more than 3 million pixels.
