Sharp to launch terrestrial digital broadcast LCD TVs

OSAKA, Japan - Sharp Corp. on June 17 took the wraps off four liquid crystal display (LCD) TV models (one in photo) capable of receiving high-resolution terrestrial digital TV broadcasts, which will start in Japan in December. The TVs will carry suggested retail prices of 770,000-800,000 yen for the 37-inch models and 560,000-580,000 yen for the 30-inch models.
