A No. 5 alarm fire tore through Wang Fuk Court in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district on Wednesday, November 26, engulfing seven of eight 31-story public housing towers wrapped in bamboo scaffolding. Thick smoke triggered evacuations, roads were shut, debris fell, and firefighters and police responded at scale. Officials confirmed over 90 deaths, with nearly 300 still missing. This video shows black smoke still billowing from the buildings the next day.
