France: Fire Breaks Out in Cournonsec, Sparking Evacuations

A fire broke out in Cournonsec, south of Montpellier, on Monday, July 28 caused by welding work on a fence using a grinder. Fueled by strong winds, the blaze quickly spread, ultimately burning around 320 hectares. Around 100 people were evacuated in Montbazin. The fire was brought under control by 11 p.m.
