Tokyo Tower gets shorter for 1st time

TOKYO, Japan - Combination photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter shows Tokyo Tower (L) at 333-meters tall in February 2012, and the same tower at 315-meter-tall on July 19, 2012. It shrank due to recently started work to replace antenna equipment atop the structure damaged by the massive March 2011 earthquake. It is expected to regain its previous height when the work is complete in mid-August.
