Takahashi upstaged at Tokyo marathon

TOKYO, Japan - Japan's Olympic champion Naoko Takahashi crosses the finish line at the National Stadium to finish in second behind Elfenesh Alemu of Ethiopia in a time of 2:27:21. Takahashi led for much of the race but faded at the 39-kilometer mark and was overtaken by Alemu.
