TOKYO, Japan - An electric board at a securities company in Tokyo's Marunouchi business area shows the key Nikkei Stock Average losing 393.81 points to close the morning session at 10,544.33 on Oct. 6. The index dropped to 10,538.33 at one point, marking its lowest intraday level since May 2004.
