Oita 'Big Eye' stadium completed for 2002 World Cup

OITA, Japan - A stadium in Oita, Kyushu, one of the 10 Japanese venues for next year's Korea-Japan World Cup, is officially completed March 15. The 43,000-seat venue, provisionally called ''Big Eye Stadium'' because of its shape as seen from above, will be christened when it hosts a J-League second-division match May 26.
