JAL holds shareholders meeting at Nippon Budokan

TOKYO, Japan - An aerial view of Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. Japan Airlines Corp. held an annual general shareholders meeting on June 25 at the indoor sports arena, which has a capacity for some 15,000 people. JAL said it expects 5,000 shareholders to attend the meeting. This is the first time Nippon Budokan has hosted a stock shareholders meeting since it opened in 1964. The arena is primarily used for musical and sports events.
