Funassyi receives award from Chiba police

CHIBA, April 14 Kyodo - Japan's favorite "pear fairy" mascot, Funassyi (R), receives a certificate of appreciation from Chiba prefectural police chief, Yoshihide Kuroki, for its efforts as a special recruiter of police officers in Chiba, a job he assumed in April 2014, at the prefectural police headquarters on April 14, 2015.
