Mitsubishi Motors launches new 'Triton' pickup truck in Thailand

BANGKOK, Thailand - Mitsubishi Motors Corp. President Osamu Masuko poses beside a ''Triton'' pickup truck at a press conference in Bangkok on Aug. 25. The company launched the new 1-ton pickup truck for the Thai market to try to expand its overseas pickup sales. The Triton, which replaces the current Strada after a full redesign, is priced at 548,000 to 898,000 Thai baht (about 1.47 to 2.41 million yen).
