Footage from 1945 Battle of Okinawa restored in DVD format

NAHA, Japan - Hiroaki Fukuchi, 81, leader of the Okinawa Historical Film Society, holds a 57-minute documentary on the 1945 Battle of Okinawa, in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, in June 19, 2012. The civic group based in Naha recently reissued its documentary, originally released in 1995 as a video, in DVD format ahead of the 67th anniversary June 23 marking the end of the battle.
