Honda's new NSX model to be highest-priced Japanese car

TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. said on May 23 it will add a new model to its NSX series of sports cars at a price of 11.95 million yen, the highest for a car made in Japan. The NSX-R will go on sale in Japan on May 24 with an annual sales target of 60 units. The two-seater NSX-R, a new version of the NSX-R sold between 1992 and 1994, is equipped with a 3.2-liter engine and a six-speed manual transmission.
