Chinese Rescue Teams Depart For Myanmar

The prices of mangoes range from 10 to 30 Egyptian pounds (about 0.5-1.5 U.S. dollars) per kilogram. The most well-known mango varieties are "Alfs," "Al-Owais," "Sukari" and "Butterfly." Mango gardens and farms in Egypt have exceeded 300,000 acres, with Ismailia alone taking up 120,000 acres of them. According to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, mango exports this year reached 694 tons, from the beginning of the season to the peak harvest.
