TOKYO, Japan - Hisako Higuchi, head of the Ladies Professional Golfers' Association of Japan (JLPGA), speaks at a news conference in Tokyo on May 2 of her joy of being inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame for the first time from Asia. ''I'm extremely happy and honored since the induction is not only the first in Japan but also in Asia. With this as a launching pad, I hope (Japanese) golf will see further development,'' said Higuchi, winner of 72 titles to her credit.
