Chinese airplane makes emergency landing in Fukuoka

FUKUOKA, Japan - A China Eastern Airlines jetliner bound from Shanghai for the city of Fukushima in Fukushima Prefecture made an emergency landing on June 1 at Fukuoka airport due to engine trouble, the Transport Ministry says. The Boeing 737 with 77 passengers and 11 crew members aboard landed at the airport, in southwestern Japan, at around 12:35 p.m. No one was injured, according to police.
