Toyota opens relocated plant with expanded capacity in China

CHENGDU, China - Toyota Motor Corp.'s remodeled Land Cruiser Prado sport utility vehicles are rolled out at a new factory of Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Toyota's joint venture with China FAW Group Corp., in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on May 19, 2010, as the factory started production the same day. With the completion of the new plant, Toyota's total annual production capacity in China has been boosted to 820,000 units.
