Tokyo stocks hit new intraday 19-yr. low

TOKYO, Japan - A stock price board at a brokerage house in Tokyo's Nihombashi business district shows the Nikkei Stock Average closing the Sept. 6 session at 9,129.07, down 93.05 points, or 1.01%, from Sept. 5. The benchmark stock index touched the day's low of 8,969.26 at 9:40 a.m., which was below the 19-year intraday low of 8,995.20 set the previous day.
