Archaeologists said it belonged to Wu Zetian (624-705), China's only empress. The gold slip is 36.2 cm long, 8 cm wide and 0.1 cm thick. It is 96 percent gold and weighs 223.5 grams. The inscription on the gold slip of Wu Zetian conveys lots of cultural and historical information. It mainly indicates that the slip is devoted to Taoist deities at Songshan Mountain to pray for absolution from her sins. In the folded position, the phone, 96 grams in weight, is 11.9 millimeters thick. NEC will sell the new mobile phone in overseas markets, but not in Japan, which uses a different transmission system.
