Wildfire in Ourense Burns Over 31,000 Hectares - Spain

Situation on the A52 highway, on August 15, 2025, in Monterrei, Ourense, Galicia (Spain). The area burned in the province of Ourense exceeds 31,000 hectares, with 11,000 hectares in Chandrexa de Queixa alone. The wave of forest fires ravaging Galicia has left villages razed to the ground, such as A Caridade or Cualedro.
