"Part of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, 40 million U.S. dollars in cash, arrived in Kabul Monday (Sept. 12) and was transferred to the Afghanistan International Bank (AIB)," DAB said. Thanking the international community for sending humanitarian aid in cash to Afghanistan, DAB said the fund would be spent transparently. The war-torn country also received a similar amount of 40 million dollars in cash as humanitarian aid on Aug. 30, raising the country's foreign reserve to nearly 1 billion U.S. dollars.
