ASUNCION, Paraguay - A letter written in the name of a Paraguayan woman, Nancy Gimenez, kidnapped last week in Paraguay along with her boyfriend and two Japanese people, one of whom has been released, has been sent asking local police to suspend their investigation, saying the hostages fear for their safety, according to a copy of the letter made available April 10.
