Violent clashes continued in Turin, Italy, on Saturday, December 20, after police cleared the "Askatasuna" social center, which had been occupied by left-wing activists for 29 years. Protesters attempted to retake the building, leading to a fierce confrontation that injured 11 police officers and prompted authorities to use tear gas and water cannons.
