The Cardinals ‘Papabile’ - Vatican

File photo - Cardinal ‘papabile’ Jean-Marc Aveline (France) attends a ceremony on October 4, 2023 at the Vatican. The Archbishop of Marseille and allegedly Pope Francis’ ‘favorite’ cardinal to succeed him, is an affable and scholarly prelate, an emerging papabile with broad appeal who is dedicated to issues of migration and interreligious dialogue. He is considered, within the church and the curia, one of the papal names, and could be the Successor of Peter. Photo by Eric Vandeville/ABACAPRESS.COM
