NPO donates money to UNICEF by collecting metal from dentures

SAITAMA, Japan - A denture collection box set up by the Saitama-based Japan Denture Recycling Association in the city of Ageo, Saitama Prefecture. The association recycles precious metals collected from unneeded dentures and donates the profits to the U.N. Children's Fund (UNICEF) and municipal governments.

UD Trucks and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation have introduced collaborative robots to their engine assembly lines on a trial basis, and Hino Motors will expand the use of robots to the production of heavy-duty truck parts by fiscal 2025. UD Trucks has introduced collaborative robots on a trial basis in the large engine assembly line at its Ageo Plant (Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture). In the future, the company plans to introduce collaborative robots by FY 2013 in the assembly of axles for heavy-duty truck parts at its Koga Plant (Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture), after ensuring safety through the use of communication and cameras.
