Takahoko Island

Takahoko Island

Takaboko island is viewed from Kaminoshima around 1895. This same scene can be enjoyed today from the entrance to Kaminoshima Catholic Church, although the waterfront has changed as a result of reclamation from the sea. A school called Kaminoshima-Aiji-En stands on the spot where a building is visible on the cape. Sanpan boats are moored at the pier.==Date:unknown, Place:Nagasaki, Photo:unknown, (Credit:Nagasaki University Library/Kyodo News Images) [Cabinet Number109‐9‐0]
