Honda develops world's 1st production motorcycle airbag system

TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. shows the world's first motorcycle airbag system at the company's head office in Tokyo on Sept. 8. Honda said the new system, which can help lessen the severity of injuries caused by frontal collisions, will be made available on the new Gold Wing motorcycle scheduled for release in late spring of 2006 in the United States.
