This year, French-German cellist Nicolas Altstaedt was the main guest performing at the annual open-air event of classical music, which has been held in August since 1981 in Amsterdam. The orchestra was situated on a pontoon anchored in a canal in the Dutch capital, while much of the audience watched and listened from boats.
