Informal Meeting Of Finance - Spain

The President of the European Central Bank (ECB), Christine Lagarde (1l), and the French Finance Minister, Bruno Le Maire (1r), talk on their arrival at the informal meeting of finance ministers in the framework of Spain's Presidency of the Council of the European Union on September 15, 2023, in Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Galicia (Spain). The informal ministerial meeting on Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Union brought together representatives of some 60 countries representing, during today and tomorrow, around 14% of the population and 21% of the world's gross domestic product (GDP). Specifically, some 50 ministers attended, including some 20 from Latin America. The working sessions focused on advancing strategic autonomy and strengthening international economic cooperation, especially with Latin America.
