'Amachan' event in Yokohama for Iwate's reconstruction

YOKOHAMA, Japan - Iwate Prefecture and Yokohama City hold an event in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Jan. 28, 2014, to support the reconstruction of Iwate Prefecture damaged by the March 11, 2011, earthquake and tsunami. Two staff members wear costumes popularized in a recent Japanese TV drama series ''Amachan,'' a story about the ama (female divers) in Iwate Prefecture.
