Philippines: Kanlaon Volcano Raises Alert Level After Two Consecutive Ash Eruptions 2

After Kanlaon Volcano on Negros Island spewed ash twice on Monday, December 2, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) raised its alert level to 2, stating it was monitoring a "possible major eruption."
