US: Iranian Community Rallies in Los Angeles After Reports of Khamenei’s Death

On Saturday, February 28, members of the Iranian community gathered for a massive rally outside the Federal Building in Los Angeles following reports that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in joint US and Israeli airstrikes. Demonstrators celebrated the news with Iranian flags and called for a "free Iran," expressing hope for regime change in their homeland.

US: United Airlines 2127 Flight Makes Emergency Landing at LAX, Passengers Evacuate via Slides

Passengers on United Airlines 2127 flight were forced to evacuate via emergency slides on the runway at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, March 2, following a reported engine fire. The Boeing 787 deployed the slides after an emergency landing, allowing 268 people on board, including 12 crew members, to flee the aircraft. No injuries have been reported at this time.

US: Gunfire Erupts at Marathon Burger Launch in Downtown Long Beach, 1 Killed

A deadly shooting sent crowds scrambling for safety near the grand opening of the newest Marathon Burger in downtown Long Beach on Sunday, March 1, turning a celebratory event into a scene of chaos and tragedy. Long Beach police confirmed that three men were shot and rushed to a local hospital, where one later died of his injuries. The two other victims remained in stable condition as of Sunday night.

US: “THANK U TRUMP” Banner Flies Over Los Angeles

Many people across the U.S. rallied to celebrate the death of Ali Khamenei, with gatherings in cities from Boston to Los Angeles. On Sunday, March 1, in L.A. police closed streets near a federal building for the large crowds. Demonstrators waved flags while a plane flew overhead, trailing a banner that said, 'THANK U TRUMP,' in support of the recent strikes.
